For Future Reference

Note to self: Sylvia Plath poems about suicide and death in xanga posts tend not to go over well.

How was the rest of the show last night?

Sp...

Don't you find it weird that she actually wants to be called Sarah Jessica all the time?  I mean, I love a double name as much as the next girl, but that's just weird to me.

I thought your last post was very well written.  I don't know very much about Sylvia Plath, so if I had commented, it probably would have sounded lame. Now I am interested in who she is, though, thanks to your post.

A lack of comments does not mean it was a bad post.

Man, I didn't know Anne's new book came out on your birthday! Maybe I should just get you a copy of that instead of taking you out to lunch. heheh.

Ben and John sounds like a fabulous combination to me. At least it's not Ben and G. Love. Boo G. Love.

re Sunday night @ the Gypsy: I never gave you an answer last night because I had one of those feelings like there was something else going on that I couldn't quite recall.  I'm seeing Treewave at the Cavern.

Uh... I think Hell needs to be done away with.
More in an on-my-blog sense than in a real world sense.
Though I suppose if I could combine my limited human understanding of metaphysics getting rid of real hell probably seems like a good idea.

I think Sarah's theory about Sylvia Plath is she was trying to bake her head in a cake.
Sounds like a good idea to me.

I suppose that doesn't have anything to do with your last post though.

I think the hell as we traditionaly think of it-- between Johnathan Edwards (Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God), Milton, Dante, and various others-- doesn't exist.
That said, I think one must surely.  Otherwise so many things don't quite make sense.
At least metaphysically speaking.
If we were purely materialist I would say Hell doesn't exist.

However, that is indeed a can of worms and rather than mess with it I'd rather take it fishing.  Cheers.

I'm glad you might be a little over the Plath thing. For you, I think there are greater literary kindred spirits.

heh...  That's funny now that I think about it.

As long as I'm good enough, I think the Mormon and Muslim afterlifes would be pretty sweet.  Gotta love misygonistic religions.

your pic looks like 1 of 2 things:

1) picture of lead anchor on some new trendy fox news broadcast
or
2) some freeze-frame photo for some new popular tv show about a young professional working girl in the city trying to figure out life, love and all the things in between.

so when is your show on?   just kidding, i like the pic though

Yeah, I think I have posted about that before. What can I say? Those certain people at concerts annoy the hell out of me!

I'm going out with y'all tomorrow night for dinner. Probably won't see Sondre (if that's still the plan) because I have limited monies. But at least I will celebrate with you!

I just laughed aloud here at work. Your comment was hilarious. Haha. I support all your comments being like that from here on out.

And coffee sounds great. And the concert sounds great. Good solution.

I now drink coffee black with honey. No more sugar and cream. I'm a grown up. Are you proud?

Yeah, that's my plan clothing-wise.  Anything else?  Lube?
